Powder coating

Powder coating is a coating process in which an electrically conductive material is coated with powder lacquers. The powder is sprayed electrostatically or tribostatically onto the plated substrate and finally burned-in.

The work piece has to be degreased before the coating. Rust, scale or other oxides have to be removed completely. Depending on the application and purpose, a suitable pretreatment will be carried out.
